Biography: Steve served as a police officer for nearly 10 years prior to attending law school. When first in practice, he served in the largest law firm in Findlay, Ohio. He later served as an Assistant County Prosecutor in Hancock County both in juvenile and criminal divisions. Steve joined Defiance College as a faculty member in 1993. Since that time he has risen to the rank of full professor.

Practice Area: Steve operates a very active private practice which involves collaborative law, divorce, custody, mediation, and criminal defense.

Service: Steve serves as a member of the Defiance City Schools Foundation, is Chair of the Defiance County Law Resources Board. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association along with numerous other law and criminal justice related organizations.
